Diana Kelley

Cybersecurity Field CTO, Microsoft

Diana Kelley is the Cybersecurity Field CTO for Microsoft and a cybersecurity architect, practitioner, executive advisor and author. At Microsoft, she leverages her 25+ years of cyber risk and security experience to provide advice and guidance to CSOs, CIOs and CISOs at some of the world's largest companies and is a contributor the Microsoft Security Intelligence Report (SIR). She was the Global Executive Security Advisor at IBM Security where she built and managed the IBM Security Research Community Newsroom process and was a regular contributor to IBM X-Force research. Kelley is a faculty member with IANS Research, an Industry Mentor at the CyberSecurity Factory and a guest lecturer at Boston College's Master of Science in Cybersecurity program. She serves on the Board of Directors at the non-profit Sightline Security, was an IEEE "Rock Star of Risk" in 2016, speaks frequently at major conferences and co-authored the book Cryptographic Libraries for Developers.

Brett Johnson

Former Most Wanted and "The Original Internet Godfather"

Former United States Most Wanted, Brett Johnson, referred to by the United States Secret Service as "The Original Internet Godfather" has been a central figure in the cybercrime world for over 20 years. He built and was leader of ShadowCrew, the precursor to today's darknet markets. He was instrumental in developing many areas of online fraud while helping design, implement, and refine modern Identity Theft, Account Take Over Fraud, Card Not Present Fraud, IRS Tax Fraud, and countless other social engineering attacks, breaches, and hacking operations. Upon his capture, the United States Secret Service hired Johnson to work as a consultant and informant. Johnson worked with the Secret Service for several months before going on a cross country crime spree, being placed on the US Most Wanted List, being captured again, sent to prison, escaping prison, being captured yet again, and finally accepting responsibility for his actions. Today, Johnson works as a security consultant and public speaker. He is one of the world's foremost authorities on cybercrime and identity theft. During 2017, He has been featured in the book, "Kingpin" by Kevin Poulsen and on numerous media outlets, including the New York Times, NBC, CNN Money, Wired Magazine, Vice, RT TV, ArsTechnica, The Independent, and more.

Aaron Sherman

Senior Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence, Braintrace

Aaron Sherman currently serves as Senior Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence at Braintrace. Bringing nearly 15 years of cyber threat detection and neutralization success for the U.S. government, Sherman most recently held the position as Cyber Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the Washington, DC and Salt Lake City Field Offices. While at the FBI, Sherman responded to and investigated cyber intrusions and data breaches perpetrated by Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) actors originating from China and elsewhere. Prior to that role, he was a Counterintelligence Special Agent in the US Army, where he conducted intelligence operations to detect, identify and neutralize threats to the United States military. Sherman has successfully led investigations into criminal cyber intrusions, data breaches, denial of service attacks, ransomware, botnets, business email compromise, identity theft, insider threats, dark web criminal services, account takeovers and payment card fraud. As a leading authority on emerging threats, he has implemented new methodologies for targeting and monitoring cybercriminals on the dark and deep web. His efforts have resulted in the detection and disruption of numerous cybercriminal campaigns targeting US organizations.

Patrick Hogan

Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge, U.S. Secret Service

Patrick Hogan is the Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge of the Secret Service's Chicago Electronic Crimes Task Force. He manages a squad of special agents and task force officers involved in the investigation of cybercrimes occurring within the Chicago area. He has been involved in cyber investigations for the last six years while in the Chicago Field Office. Prior to being in the Chicago Field Office, Hogan was involved in the coordination of national and transnational cybercrime investigations at the headquarters level. His Secret Service career has also given him the opportunity to protect former-Vice President Dick Cheney and to be detailed to the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Homeland Security.

Daniel Wierzbicki

Supervisory Special Agent - Criminal & National Security Cyber Investigations, FBI Chicago Division

Wierzbicki joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation in March 2004 where he investigated criminal cyber intrusions at the Washington Field Office. In 2011, he was promoted to Supervisory Special Agent at FBI Headquarters investigating National Security intrusions across the United States. Shortly after, SSA Wierzbicki was promoted to Unit Chief of National Security at FBI Headquarters. SSA Wierzbicki's current assignment is a Supervisory Special Agent for Criminal and National Security Cyber Investigations at the FBI Chicago Field Office. SSA Wierzbicki is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, where he obtained a B.S. degree in chemical engineering.

David Lott

Payments Risk Expert, Retail Payments Risk Forum, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta

Lott is a retail payments expert with the Retail Payments Risk Forum of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and has more than 35 years of experience in the retail banking and payments industries. As part of the team at the Retail Payments Risk Forum, Lott works with payments stakeholders in researching payment systems and products, focusing on risks and mitigating strategies. A key area of focus for his present work is customer, transaction and data security issues. As such, Lott has done considerable work with the wide range of card and payment technologies including card; mobile devices such as tablets and phones; other payment form factors, and their various delivery channels including ATMs, online and call centers. Lott works with representatives from the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston in facilitating the meetings of the Mobile Payments Industry Workgroup. He is a member of the BITS Payment Card Fraud Sub-Group as well as a representative of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta in other inter-agency and intra-Federal Reserve System working groups.
