Steve Durbin

Steve Durbin currently serves as Managing Director of the Information Security Forum (ISF) a not-for-profit information security trade body that seeks to develop best practice IT security methodologies for its diverse membership, consisting of banks, technology firm, mobile network operators and others. His main areas of focus include strategy, information technology, cyber security and the emerging security threat landscape across both the corporate and personal environments. Durbin was previously a senior vice president and consultancy head at Gartner working in the technology and telecoms markets and used to work at Ernst & Young (E&Y), before joining the ISF, in the high-net worth private banking and investment area in Europe, Middle-East, and Africa (EMEA), plus India. He is currently chairman of the Digiworld Institute, a senior executive forum in the UK drawing its membership from the telco, media and IT sectors, which seeks to act as a think-tank for senior managers.
