National Coordinator, Integrated Market Enforcement Teams, Royal Canadian Mounted Police

A 22 year veteran of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Sgt. Luis Cerritos currently serves as the National Coordinator for the Integrated Market Enforcement Teams. Within this role, Cerritos is responsible for liaising and collaborating with key domestic and international stakeholders to strengthen the collective capacity to prevent, disrupt and investigate financial market misconduct and related criminality. Over the course of his career, Sgt. Cerritos has gained extensive experience in the assessment, design and implementation of emergency response protocols to manage operational disruptions due to human threats, infrastructure malfunction and natural disasters. He has 14 years investigational experience including various complex cases in relation to frauds, money laundering, drugs and weapons trafficking and homicides. Sgt. Cerritos is also a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Medal for his contributions to the RCMP Operational Readiness and Response Program.
